Mace powder tastes like a more delicate nutmeg.

It comes from the fruit of the nutmeg tree, from the lace covering on the inner shell holding the nutmeg.




Cooking Instructions and Methods:

Use ground with chocolate, for oyster stew, pound cake and other yellow cakes, swedish metballs, doughnuts, stuffing, barbecue sauce, lamb chops, sausages, soups, sauces, mulled wines, carrots, squash, swiss card, spinach, potatoes and with cauliflower.
