Tenderstem Broccoli Wok

Serving Size, Ingredients and Equipment:

This dish may not be originally from Kenya, but some of the most delicious tenderstem broccoli comes from there. We were amazed by the sweet, peppery taste. Here are the necessary ingredients for each portion.

1 handfull / bunch of tenderstem broccoli
1 handfull of snow peas
4 thinly sliced strips of a nocera rosso red pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon marinated ginger
1 egg for scrambling / one portion precooked japanese omelette
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 dash of cayenne pepper sauce

Cooking Instructions and Methods:

In a wok at medium to high heat, add the olive oil.

Throw in the tenderstem brocooli, snow peas, and nocera rosso and stir fry for a couple of minutes.

Add the soy sauce and ginger, continue to stir fry for a couple more minutes.

Add the cayenne pepper sauce and precooked omelette and serve as a delicious vegetable dish.

There must be a good way to cook the egg in the wok, we will have to try that next time.
